Rosalind Bioculture develops functional yeast for the food and beverage industry, enabling the production of healthier fermented products through advanced fermentation technology. We operate at the intersection of biotechnology and real-world manufacturing, with a strong emphasis on practicality, reliability, and scalability.
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Production Line Technician to support and monitor our fermentation and production operations. This role focuses on hands-on execution, routine monitoring, and maintaining smooth day-to-day production activities. The position is part-time and well-suited for candidates with a background in life sciences or fermentation who are interested in applied biotech and production environments.
Monitor ongoing fermentation and production processes according to defined protocols
Execute routine production tasks, including preparation, inoculation, sampling, and shutdown
Track key production parameters and document results accurately
Identify deviations, anomalies, or equipment issues and report them promptly
Support basic maintenance, cleaning, and readiness of production equipment
Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards
Assist with inventory tracking of raw materials and consumables
Background in Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Food Science, or a related field (student or graduate)
High attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures consistently
Hands-on, responsible, and dependable work style
Willingness to work flexible or non-standard hours when required by production cycles
Comfortable working independently while coordinating closely with the technical team
Prior experience in fermentation, food production, or laboratory operations
Familiarity with basic production documentation and data logging
Experience working in regulated or protocol-driven environments
Hands-on role in a growing biotech company moving from development to production
Exposure to real-world fermentation and scale-up challenges
